Cigar Band Rings

Cigar band rings are a snazzy way for a woman to adorn her fingers. This band ring acquired its name because it has a similar shape to the paper bands that surround cigars. This ring is both substantial and comfortable to wear because it outlines the shape of one’s finger.

Platinum, gold and silver are excellent metal choices. Choosing cigar band rings that have a small or a large amount of diamonds and color stones can add interest without overwhelming this simple design. Texture adds richness that will lend this design its true character.

Try integrating cigar band rings for an everyday look that will exude just the right amount of chicness to your style.

Color Block Jewelry

Incorporating color block into your jewelry collection is a dramatic way of expressing your style. Jewelry designs that utilize opposite colors will create a stimulating contrast that will pivot your look.

Fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent created this color effect during the nineteen sixties that became an iconic mod fashion statement for all ages. His inspiration stemmed from painter and artist Piet Mondrian. Jewelry can mimic this same mod effect.

I love the juxtaposition of colors and feel that this design will forever be modern. Are you ready to conquer color block design?

Think Pink!

Think pink when you shop for jewelry!

Pink jewelry designs are tender and sweet, but can make an eye-catching statement as well. The color pink is a serene shade of red and is said to be associated with kindness and love.

Wearing pink can be flattering if you choose the right shade. Pink diamonds, sapphires, opals, rose quartz, enamel, crystals, and metal all give your skin a rosy glow.

Wearing pink jewelry is a distinctive way of expressing your feminine side and will help you to embrace everything that comes your way!

Jewelry Inspired By Sculpture

Jewelry inspired by sculpture takes me back to my days in design school when I took a required sculpture class that would help me to visualize jewelry in a sculptural manner.

Sculpture is an artistic form of expression that can have many forms of interpretation. Jewelry, especially in a sculptural form, can express movement, proportion, texture, tone, and even color.

What I find captivating about jewelry inspired by sculpture is the graceful movement of each design and how it captures the character within each piece.

70’s Vibe Jewelry

Jewelry designs from the 1970’s were bold and well crafted. Various shades of yellow, orange, brown, and green were incorporated into much of fashion, during that decade.

I have taken a particular interest in the jewelry designs of this time period because they portrayed so much of what was happening politically. Women’s rights pivoted during the 1970’s, which was an exciting time for all women, especially those in the workforce.

Today, women can celebrate 1970’s fashion vibe by wearing jewelry pieces that mimic that design era. Are you ready to create your own hip 70’s jewelry collection?

Jewelry Patterns and Textures

Jewelry patterns and textures add a decorative element to your style. Repetitive shapes create attractive designs that flow in an orderly fashion. Textures help to expand the design foundation and result in a finish that is eye-catching.

Wearing simple garments with jewelry that have patterns and textures work well because they act as a blank canvas and let the jewelry take center stage.

Jewelry patterns and textures take jewelry to another level. You will never go wrong with this cleverly embellished look.

Waterfall Jewelry

Imagine a relaxing waterfall cascading on to your shoulders. They say that waterfalls can improve your mood and reduce anxiety and stress. Hmm. Sounds like a good reason to purchase some waterfall jewelry!

Waterfall jewelry can be worn beautifully during the day, but at night it will make a special statement. Try pairing it with simple, monochromatic articles of clothing that will highlight your look throughout the seasons.

What attracts me to this design is the flow and dispersion of light which in my opinion, creates harmony within.

Whimsical Jewelry

Whimsical jewelry will add a playful feel to your collection. I like observing what other people are wearing, especially designs that are fun!

I never realized that a propeller, a tea cup, or a tape from a tape recorder could be incorporated into jewelry designs. People will get a kick out of these unique pieces!

Of all the whimsical designs that I have viewed, the glazed donut catchall is my favorite. It can hold some of your whimsical jewelry and make you laugh.

Why not style yourself with jewelry pieces that are quirky and entertaining?

Jewelry With An Edge

Jewelry with an edge allows a woman to express her rock fashion style gracefully. She may wake up one morning and decide to be adventurous with her appearance. Shake up her style a little bit!

I am partial to leather wrap stud bracelets because they exude an edgy coolness that spices up my monochromatic clothing choices. Give it a try and see if it works for you!

Women can conquer it all, so why not show a little toughness every now and then?
